Product information

A spin mop and bucket set that rinses your mop in clean water, every time. The Cleansage AquaPro keeps clean water in an inner bucket and dirty water in an outer one, so the pad never goes back into the grime it has just lifted. Press the handle and clean-water jets rinse the pad while 13 rows of comb teeth strip off hair. Then spin it as damp or as dry as your floor needs.

In the box you get the dual-chamber bucket, a three-part stainless steel handle, a square 360° mop head and three thick, machine-washable microfibre pads. It's made for busy UK homes, pet owners and anyone who's fed up with grey mop water.

Why choose a spin mop and bucket set that separates clean and dirty water

You've probably been here. You start with a bucket of clean water, and ten minutes later you're swishing the mop round in something grey. Hair wraps round the head, you end up picking it off with your fingers, and the floor dries with a dull film because you've been spreading the dirt, not lifting it.

We get it. You want a clean floor without the yuck. An ordinary spin mop sorts out the wringing, but it still rinses in the same water all the way round the house. The AquaPro is a clean and dirty water mop: fresh water on one side, used water kept away on the other, and a comb that takes the hair off for you. You never touch the dirty water and you never wring by hand.

How the AquaPro spin mop and bucket keeps clean and dirty water apart

Clean water sits in the inner bucket. Dirty water collects in the outer bucket. Every time you press the handle down, jets push clean water up through the pad, and the used water runs off into the outer bucket, away from the water you rinse with.

Cutaway of the AquaPro spin mop and bucket set: clean water jets rinse the pad, dirty water drains to the outer bucket

  • A window on the front shows how much dirty water has built up, so you can see when it's time to empty.
  • A drain plug at the bottom lets the dirty water run straight out. No lifting and tipping a full bucket.
  • The two buckets come apart for rinsing out and drying after use.

What makes this rotating mop and bucket different

A lot of spin mops look alike on the shelf. These are the things you'll notice once the AquaPro is in your hands.

13-row comb teeth take the hair off for you

Under the pad, 13 rows of comb teeth scrape it every time it turns. Pet fur, long hair and lint come off the pad and wash away into the dirty water, not onto your hands. If you've got a shedding dog or cat, or long hair in the family, this is the part you'll love most.

Wet for tiles, nearly dry for wood: one dry wet mop

You decide how damp the pad is. A few quick spins leave it wet enough for sticky kitchen spills and bathroom tiles. Keep spinning and it comes out nearly dry for laminate and wood, so floors dry fast and nobody slips. One dry wet mop does both jobs, so there's no second mop cluttering up the cupboard.

A square 360° head that cleans under the sofa

The low, flat head swivels a full 360°, so it slides under sofas, beds and sideboards and round chair legs without you moving the furniture. Because it's square, it gets further into corners and tighter along skirting boards than a round spin mop.

Thick microfibre pads with nylon threading

Each pad is thick microfibre interwoven with nylon threads. The microfibre soaks up spills in seconds, and the nylon adds scrubbing power and snags hair and grit that a plain pad would push around. All three pads go in the washing machine, so there's always a fresh one ready.

A few more details you'll notice

  • No pedal, no power. Everything runs off the up-and-down press of the handle, so there's no foot pedal to wear out.
  • Adjustable stainless steel handle with a latch. Set it to your height so you mop standing upright. Open the latch to rinse and spin, close it to mop.
  • Carry handle on the bucket. Take it from the kitchen to the bathroom in one hand.
  • Tough PP plastic bucket that arrives ready to use.

How to spin a mop properly with the AquaPro

It takes a couple of goes to get the rhythm. Once you have it, it's rinse, spin, mop.

  1. Put it together. Screw the three handle sections together and fit the mop head. The bucket comes ready to use.
  2. Pre-wet new pads. Soak a new pad in water for 30 to 60 seconds before its first use so it wets evenly.
  3. Fill the clean side. Lift out the rinse plate, fill the inner bucket with clean water (add a little floor-safe cleaner if you like), then put the plate back.
  4. Rinse the pad. Stand the mop in the bucket and open the latch. Lift the handle to the top, press down firmly and pause for a second. Clean-water jets rinse the pad while the comb teeth strip off hair. Repeat until the pad looks clean.
  5. Spin it dry. With the latch still open, push the handle up and down quickly in short strokes. A few strokes leave the pad damp for tiles; more strokes spin it nearly dry for laminate and wood.
  6. Lock and mop. Close the latch and mop. Rinse and spin again whenever the pad looks dirty.
  7. Empty and wash. Pull the drain plug to let the dirty water out, rinse both buckets and machine wash the pad.

Floors, bathroom walls and windows: one mop does the lot

It's a mop for cleaning floors first. Because you control exactly how wet the pad is, it's safe on almost every hard floor in your home.

AquaPro spin mop cleaning grey bathroom floor tiles and grout lines with a damp microfibre pad

  • Tiles, stone and marble: leave the pad wetter to lift sticky spills and clean along grout lines.
  • Laminate: spin it nearly dry, so no water is left standing on the boards.
  • Hardwood and engineered wood: sealed or lacquered floors only, with a nearly dry pad. Oiled or waxed floors need the finish maker's own products.
  • LVT and vinyl: a damp pad, with a little pH-neutral cleaner if you like.

Bathroom wall tiles and shower screens

Extend the handle and the swivel head reaches high wall tiles, awkward corners and glass shower screens, with no step stool and no bowl of suds. Spin the pad fairly dry first so it doesn't drip down the wall.

Windows, mirrors and glass doors

The same flat pad wipes smears and fingerprints off windows, mirrors, glass doors and partitions. Let the head swivel to follow the glass, and finish with a nearly dry pad for a streak-free shine.

What's in the AquaPro spin mop and bucket set

AquaPro spin mop and bucket set in the box: dual-chamber bucket, three-part handle, mop head and 3 microfibre pads

  • Dual-chamber bucket: inner clean-water bucket, outer dirty-water bucket, rinse plate with 13-row comb teeth, front window, drain plug and carry handle.
  • Stainless steel handle: three sections, adjustable, with a latch for rinsing and spinning.
  • Square 360° mop head: low profile, swivels in every direction.
  • 3 microfibre pads: thick, nylon-threaded and machine washable.

Keep spares in the cupboard: AquaPro replacement microfibre mop pads come in a 5-pack. They wash and go straight back to work, so you're not buying refills every week.

Is this spin mop right for you?

We'd rather you buy the right mop first time, so here's the honest version.

  • Great for: busy family homes, pet owners, kitchens and bathrooms, and anyone who wants clean water every rinse.
  • May not suit: people with severe arthritis, limited grip strength or frailty, because rinsing and spinning need a firm press. The HydraPro flat mop uses an up-and-down pump instead.
  • Corners: the square head reaches much further than a round one, but a tight 90° corner may still need a quick wipe by hand.

  • Choose the AquaPro spin mop if you like a quick press-and-spin wring and a compact square head that slips under furniture and into corners.

Spin mop and bucket set questions answered

What is a spin mop and bucket set?

A spin mop and bucket set wrings the mop by spinning it in the bucket instead of squeezing it by hand. The Cleansage AquaPro adds clean and dirty water separation, so the pad is always rinsed in fresh water, and a 13-row comb that strips hair off the pad as it turns.

Is a rotating mop and bucket the same as a spin mop?

Yes. Rotating mop, spinning mop and spin mop all describe the same thing: a mop head that spins inside the bucket to throw the water out. The AquaPro is a rotating mop and bucket with separate clean and dirty water.

How does the AquaPro keep clean and dirty water separate?

Clean water stays in the inner bucket and dirty water collects in the outer bucket. When you press the handle, jets rinse the pad with clean water and the used water runs off into the outer bucket, so the pad never goes back into dirty water.

How do I spin a mop properly?

Open the latch. To rinse, lift the handle to the top, press down firmly and pause for a second, and repeat until the pad is clean. To dry, push the handle up and down quickly in short strokes: fewer strokes for a damp pad on tiles, more for a nearly dry pad on laminate and wood. Close the latch and mop.

Are spin mops worth it?

A good one is, because you stop wringing by hand and you choose how wet the pad is. The catch with most spin mops is that they rinse in one bucket of water that gets dirtier as you go. A spin mop with clean and dirty water separation, like the AquaPro, fixes that, so you get the easy wring and a clean rinse every time.

What are the disadvantages of spin mops?

Ordinary spin mops reuse the same water, let hair wrap round the head, often have round heads that miss corners, and some rely on a foot pedal that can wear out. The AquaPro answers those with separate clean and dirty water, a 13-row hair comb, a square head and no pedal. What's left: rinsing needs a firm press, and a tight 90° corner may need a quick wipe by hand.

Does the AquaPro need a foot pedal or electricity?

No. You press the handle up and down to rinse and spin the pad. There's no pedal, battery or cable.

Does it need assembling?

Only the handle. The bucket arrives ready to use: screw the three handle sections together, fit the mop head and fill up.

Can I use a spin mop on laminate floors?

Yes, if you spin the pad nearly dry. That gives you the damp, not wet, mop laminate needs, so no water is left standing on the boards and the floor dries quickly.

Is the AquaPro good for pet hair?

Yes. The nylon-threaded pad snags fur, and the 13-row comb teeth strip it off into the dirty water every time you rinse, so you never touch it. Vacuum first when your pet is shedding heavily.

Can I use the AquaPro on bathroom walls and windows?

Yes. The 360° head and adjustable stainless steel handle reach bathroom wall tiles, shower screens, windows and mirrors. Spin the pad fairly dry first so it doesn't drip.

Why is my new pad not getting wet enough?

New microfibre needs pre-wetting. Soak the pad in water for 30 to 60 seconds before first use, then rinse and spin as normal. It absorbs properly from then on.

Can I add floor cleaner?

Yes, a small amount of floor-safe cleaner can go in the clean water. Use a pH-neutral product on wood, laminate and stone. Microfibre also cleans well with plain water.

How do I empty the AquaPro?

Check the front window to see how much dirty water there is, then pull the drain plug at the bottom and let it run out, so you don't have to lift a full bucket. Rinse both buckets after use.

How do I wash the pads, and where can I buy more?

Machine wash the pads and let them air dry, without fabric softener. Replacement microfibre pads are sold here at ABN Finest in a 5-pack for £7.99.

Is the AquaPro suitable for elderly users?

It suits many older users, because you mop standing upright, never wring by hand and empty it with the drain plug. It may not suit people with severe arthritis or limited grip strength, because rinsing needs a firm press. For them, the HydraPro flat mop's up-and-down pump is the better choice.

Will it clean right into corners?

The square 360° head gets much closer to corners and skirting boards than a round spin mop. A tight 90° corner may still need a quick wipe by hand.

Great purchase just what I was looking for, nice size, spins well and 3 mop heads, what’s not to like

Great mop but you need to read the instructions! It is impossible to use if u don’t read up on it! I’ve never seen anything so complicated in my life but once you have it sorted out it’s amazing. You get 3 pads to use in different rooms so you always have a clean mop. The length of the mop is great and it’s great to move about. The spin mechanism is a bit difficult for a wheelchair user but I have it worked out. It makes the floor good and dry and I like that I can use boiling water

So far this spin mop and bucket set has been easy to use and cleans my floors exceptionally well. The idea of the separate chambers gives me the peace of mind that I am only using clean water to mop my floors, which was not the same feeling I was getting with my traditional mops available out there. It is so quick to set up and start using without a fuss and the build quality of the bucket is fine as well. It came with 3 mop pads that are machine washable and can be reused, which is great and overall I would recommend to anyone that needs a new mop! Our household is heavy mop users so these pads may need changing frequently, but I also noticed that they sell spare replacement mop pads if mine needs changing in the future, which is peace of mind for me that I dont need to keep buying the mop set again. 5* from me for sure!

Great purchase! I love the idea of the dirty water and clean water separation and the mop pads do a great job, without leaving streaks. One of the best spin mops I have used.

The whole mop is very compact and a perfect size for you to stow away and if need be the mop handle can be separated into 3 pieces and placed in the bucket for future use. The bucket seems sturdy and looks very modern, which I like compared to my old traditional mop.

Overall, the mop is great value for money and would recommend to anyone that needs a new mop or wants to mop the floor in a more hygienic way.

I honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed by a mop, but this one has completely changed how I feel about cleaning. It’s lightweight, easy to manoeuvre, and reaches into corners and under furniture without any hassle. The head absorbs really well and picks up dirt instead of just pushing it around.

It also wrings out easily, so the floors dry quickly and don’t feel overly wet. I’ve used it on both tile and laminate, and it leaves a really clean, streak-free finish every time. The handle feels sturdy and well-made, not flimsy like some others I’ve tried.

Overall, it’s great value for money and has made a boring chore much quicker and easier. Definitely recommend!

Ordered this mop as I had seen it advertised on TikTok, and thought I'd give it a go. I have tried several mops from other, more expensive competitors and I can confidently say that this product is in a league of its own. Build quality wise, it feels extremely well built, and as though it would last ages. It's extremely easy to use after reading the manual, and the way in which it always uses clean water to wet the pad is ingenious, you MUST do this up and down motion on first use to properly soak the pad and activate it. Having using it for about a week on my hardwood floors and tiles and have not experienced any problems whatsoever. Communication with seller was amazing, and product was delivered quickly. It's really easy to soak the pad, although I would recommend a slight pre soak before first use to make sure it's properly activated. 10/10 product. I would easily purchase from this brand again and I would recommend anyone else looking at this product to purchase.
